Exploration. It is how we start our life journey: from crawling on the floor as babies to walking through our environment and ultimately flying in a plane to new worlds, we humans are explorers. This was one of my paintings that explored the idea of exploring and it represents the process of undirected momentum symbolized by flowers born in darkness, pushing against the weight of the world in uncharted territory.
While the original sold with a market value in the thousands, this museum-quality print made on thick matte paper is a way to experience the symbolism and story of the piece, and my hope is that each time you see your new print, you feel your unconscious inner strength to push through the dark moments and bloom into your fullest self--to find your way.
